privacy & support

if you need someone right now

you're not alone in this. trained listeners are available — any time, free.

Me to Me is built on one principle: what you write belongs to you alone.

what stays on your device

Every private entry you write — the text, mood, timestamp — is stored only in your browser's localStorage. It never leaves your device. No one can access it, including us.

what you choose to share

If you choose "send to the wall", only the text of your entry is stored in our database (Supabase). No name, no email, no IP address, no timestamp is attached — just the words.

Echoes you write for others are stored temporarily and can be removed by admins if reported.

AI and your entries

When you request a reflection, your entry text is sent to the Claude API (Anthropic) via a Supabase Edge Function. The text is processed and responded to — it is never stored in any database.

Your AI Twin learns from patterns in your entries — not the full texts. You can delete individual memories at any time from the Twin page.

your identity

No account. No email. No name. A random UUID is generated in your browser once — that is the entire identity. It exists only in your localStorage.

crisis support

Crisis pattern detection happens entirely in your browser. Nothing is sent to any server. No one ever knows. This is non-negotiable.

deleting your data

In Settings, you can erase everything with one tap. This permanently deletes all your local entries. Wall posts you've shared can be removed by contacting us.
